General Sinha is an alumni of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and National Defence College, New Delhi.
A graduate from JNU, Masters from the University of Madras, M.Phil from Osmania University and Management degree from College of Defence Management, Secunderabad.
A Gallant Infantry soldier, Kargil veteran General Sinha has served the nation for forty long years at national and international levels. He has the experience of management at the highest level and expertise at ground(tactical), operational and strategic levels.
